The Enchanted Retreat

Positive: A wonderful getaway destination & accommodation. We loved the beautiful surroundings (trees, bird life & song) and a nice hot tub under the stars in the evenings were the highlights. The automatic fire made the place feel cozy, along with the heat pump meant it was always warm even though it is winter. The smart tent features elevated the luxury 'glamping' experience to another level and added a fun element to our experience. Great location, close to shops & restaurants. Enchanted Retreat is not far from Te Mata Peak where we watched the sunset one evening, it was spectacular!

An exceptional experience! Positive: The whole experience was enchanting! The hot tub, the comfort of the bed, the technology, the view, actually…..EVERYTHING!! The hosts have thought of every detail imaginable. A magical experience!! Negative: Nothing at all!

Highly recommend for those wanting to escape the hustle and bustle and just relax! The spa and alexa were our highlights and being just a 5 minute drive to the village was perfect for dining out! Highly recommend and we will be back again soon!

Thoroughly enjoyed our experience and will be back some day Positive: Location was perfect for our needs, (Traveled 2 hrs) accomodation was excellent Negative: when we arrived at night there were no lights on which was dangerous trying to find the path, the spa water smelled and seem to be not treated enough, and both the inside mood candle & outside mood candle could not be lit as they were completely burnt down,
